Night Shift

Michael started Air Traffic Control training Feb 7th so my life has been 24/7 Aubry, which I am loving but sometimes it can get hectic around the Tagmir household. Michaels schedule alternates from day shift one week and night shift the following. Well this particular week is a night shift week, on night shift weeks I usually hang around my dad's house then go home around 9:30 or so. When I get home I usually put Aubry to bed and hang out until Michael gets home. Well last night when Michael got home we stayed up extra late watching a movie (a semi-date). Well Aubry had her shots yesterday morning and woke up this morning at 6:45(went to be around 3). SO I was extra groggy, but my little princess isn't feeling so happy these days. I def have noticed a change in attitude when Michael works nights. She doesn't get much time with him until the weekend anyway because he's always studying at work or at a classmates house. Today I asked her if she missed her daddy and she shot me a sad look. My baby is only 6mos old but she sure does have her own personality.

Aubry's appointment went wonderful! She weights 20lbs (10 more lbs and she will be right there with cousin Lizzie) and she is 29 inches long!!! Def taking after her Daddy. She is sitting up all by herself and almost crawling, any day now I'm sure. I'm so blessed to have such a healthy baby.

I am having trouble with Aubry growing up so fast, I feel like it was just yesterday we were settling in to our house wondering how our days/nights were going to be as far as sleep. Now its like where di those months go???? Aubry can wear most of Lizzies clothes....from a year ago (liz is 2 1/2!!). I really miss being pregnant....please tell me I'm not the only mom like this? lol

So Aubry loves spending time with my dad....I think her #1 reason is because he lets her do WHATEVER she wants....Well Michael was out at a classmates house studying for his big test and My dad and christle came over to hang out....WELL Papa of course is in the floor playing with her and he layed his head on her book and she grabbed his head and started biting him!! lol she would also make a shreaking sound!!! It was hilarious!!! I would have to say she is the happiest when she's with her papa.

Another picture is of Aubry and our "computer" time. Every other day or so I let her watch on you tube "moto moto" he's a huge hippo off Madagascar 2...hilarious...anyways I let her watch the movie...well i clicked off of the moto moto screen to another one and she turned around and gave me a "what are you thinking" look...hilarious!!

My baby is going to be 6mos in 2 weeks ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Bath time equals play time for Aubs!!

It's not unusual to give Aubry a bath.....but EVERY evening has become a little chaotic....She loves bath time, I think she enjoys it more than eating...That in itself is crazy. Anyway, I filled up her pink tub that Aunt Leila got her while my gracious husband got her undressed and then brought her to the bathroom so I could put her in. I put her on the "infant" side and she was practially sitting instead of laying down soooooo I held the tears back and set her in the toddler seat. Every day I realize how big my precious baby is getting. I decided I should probably wash her hair since its going to be cold and yuky the next couple of days so I peaked around the bathroom door and asked Michael to get her brush for me...As I turned around I realized I was standing in a very large puddle of water. When I asked Miss Aubry what she had been doing she grabbed the rag and started "smacking" the water lol. I yelled for Michael to get the camera and she was just laughing and yelling. Its times like that that I just wanna scoop her up and kiss her...these days She looks at me like "What are you doing mom!". After I took her out of the bath I put a diaper on her and sat her in her crib so I could clean up the mess she had made....when I came back she was playing with all her stuffed animals...her favorite Airman Awacs that I made for her for xmas. Well after I clothed her lol Michael wanted to put her to bed so I started cleaning the kitchen...a few minutes later I hear aubry yelling and michael saying "AHHHHHHHHHHH babe!!!!" So I ran over to him to find my little monster eating her daddys face lol. Here are a few pics!!

New Highchair!

My Dad and Christle came over last night...which isn't unusual....but they came over with a new highchair for Ms. Aubs!!! I put her in it to see what she would do and she had so much fun, she watched her fav show in it (Yo Gabba Gabba)....Then I fed her in it and she didn't want to come out!! She is getting so big it makes me want to cry! Here are a few pics!

Squash

Today I decided to give Aubry a new veggie...So far she has had green beans, carrots, and peas. I decided to try squash. She LOVED the squash, so much that she took the spoon from me and rubbed it on her face. After I cleaned her all up I finished feeding her, she got frustrated with me and decided to chase the spoon. First Blog

Hello everyone!!! I am going to start blogging about Aubry so we can keep track of how fast she grows. Why I waited 5 months??? I have no idea. Time has certainly flown. Aubry is almost 5 months, 20 pounds, and about 27 inches long! She laughs, smiles, and talks all the time. She loves riding in the car, playing in her various bouncers, EATING, and taking baths. I am extremly blessed and able to stay at home with her. God has done a number in my life and I hope that Aubry can become a woman of God........and has his hearts desire. We take her to church every sunday morning....8:30 am..... and for the last 4wks she has had the same teacher in Starry Night (baby room). Did I mention we LOVE lifechurch! Anyway, I am just going on and on about nothing...Here are a few pics of my love.
